Hello World!

I am currently a Master's student in Computer Science at the University of Iowa. I am also a graduate teaching assistant in the same department. I got my B.S. degree in Computer Engineering at Middle East Technical University, Turkey in 2019.

I was a TA for CS3330: Algorithms and CS1210: Computer Science I: Fundamentals courses during the 2019-2020 academic year.

Besides doing research, I love coming up with new little project ideas that can help us to automate any work we are doing during daily life. I love exploring new technologies and experimenting on them. Just e-mail me, share your idea about any subject, and we can start thinking about how to make it real. Check out my GitHub profile for my previous publicly available projects. Currently, I focused on website fingerprinting attack solutions, IPv6 security and penetration testing methods.

I also love making music, cooking and photography (especially black and white photography for now).

My research interests can be grouped under:

  • Computer Security
  • Network Security
  • Anonymity
  • Censorship
  • Privacy
  • Cryptography
  • Text Mining
  • Social Media Analysis
  • Game Development
